Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)

Refunding Tickets

Can I refund my ticket?

Unless the event you have purchased a ticket for has been cancelled or rescheduled, or there are legal requirements that provide otherwise (including those of the Australian Consumer Law), tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

If an event is rescheduled, you will be offered equivalent seats at the rescheduled event. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event or an event is cancelled entirely, you are entitled to a refund of the face value of the tickets and the per ticket booking fee. However, once an event has taken place there is generally no right to a refund or exchange. Please contact us for exact instructions if an event is cancelled or rescheduled.

How do I obtain a refund on a cancelled or postponed event?

Show Tickets will call or email you with details of each cancelled or postponed event as sometimes there may be other options rather than a refund.

Generally if you purchased on the web, mobile web or over the phone using Show Tickets, then we will automatically issue a refund back to the credit card used for purchase. If this is the case we will email you a confirmation that your refund has been processed to the email address provided when you booked. It usually takes around 3 business days for the funds to return to your account.
